Fans want good, meaningful, interconnected trilogies, but it doesn’t always work out that way. For every Lord of the Rings trilogy, there is a Hobbit trilogy. For every Star Wars, a lesser Star Wars. And that’s not even counting the plethora of unworthy spin-offs, knock-offs, and rip-offs. Is it any wonder, then, that so many trilogies slip through the cracks? Here are a few, but don’t expect them all to be masterpieces…

The Thing | 0:23
Shaun of the Dead | 0:51
The Addams Family | 1:31
Cruel Intentions | 2:05
Dungeons and Dragons | 2:51
Big Momma’s House | 3:39
Legally Blonde | 4:18
Desperado | 5:01
Darkman | 5:40

My favorite Trilogy is the Dollars trilogy with Clint Eastwood. Fist full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

The Thing is part of another trilogy, it’s a remake of a 50s movie, then they made a prequel.

this video is pointless, i knew that every single one of those movies were part of trilogies. the only people who didn't know those movies were part of trilogies were people who had never heard of any of those movies.

The Addams Family Reunion isn't a sequel to the other 2 movies, it was a pilot for The New Addams Family series.
