Who do you think will play the most important role in Avengers 4?

It's the only way. That's why he didn't use the portal to cut his arm off like Obsidian Cull. It could have led to worse outcomes

Doctor Strange could have opened a portal underneath Thanos and then closed it when he was felling through it, cutting him in half. If he timed it right, the Gauntlet would have been left on the surface of the Earth after he was killed. Then again, this would have been a much shorter movie…

Why didn't he just cut Thanos's arm off with that one portal gimmick?

This is bulshit cause the comic dr strange would shit on thanos and all the avengers on the mcu combined facts they portrayed the strongest marvel comic hero to be 3% of his real comic powers pisses me off tbh

What about Spiderman saying "I don't feel good". How could he know beforehand that he was getting dusted? Or are we to assume the spider sense can detect unavoidable death?

    I hope the truth is
Doctor strange lied so they wouldn't give up
There is no hope to "win" just to do their best to stop thanos but not reverse the damage he has done. They can only pick up the pieces of thano's destruction. Now that's dark

For those that are complaining about already knowing about this event are missing the question .."why did Doctor strange change his mind and give up the Time Stone in exchange for Tony Stark being spared ?….in my video I explain the answer ,it's because out of the 14 million possible outcomes to the conflict with Thanos to stop him, Doctor Strange looked for and saw an outcome to the conflict with the least affect good or bad on the universe and it involved Tony Stark ,the reason why Doctor Strange gave up the Stone for Tony's life is because Doctor Strange saw an outcome where Tony or Natasha remember events they were involved in in Avengers ONE, the first event was when Loki failed to mind control Tony because the element in Tony's chest cancelled out the Mind Stone ,the Second Event was when Eric Selvig directs Natasha to push Loki's sceptor containing the Mind Stone into the Portal cDevice containing the Tesseract explaining that " you can't fight ,you can't defend against yourself " meaning ,Eric Selvig under the influence of and connected to the Mind Stone was able to understand the way the Infinity Stones" behaved " and saw that when the Infinity Stones touch or are in close proximity to each other they cancel one another's powers out, so that is why when Natasha pushes Loki's sceptor containing the Teseract a.k.a the Space Stone we see a reaction and the Portal shuts down….that said ,either Tony or someone else , perhaps Tony's A.I Friday or Jarvis will be going through footage thsy was recorded on Stark Tower or by Jarvis of the Battle of New York and someone will see the two afore mentioned events ,then Tony will apply the elemt he created to a new suit that will utilize the element he created to fight Thanos and reverse what Thanos did .

I actually noticed that during the movie…
    But good catch…
Personal theory: Thanos actually finds his regret for his personal loss of Gamora and it makes him realize how unjust it was to take all those lives…
He uses the Gaunlet again to reset thigns somehow…

Love you guys at Looper, but this was a really shitty excuse for a video. It makes me think that someone messed up and pulled together a video last second. EVERYBODY knows this…
