You are clueless, we always got something negative to say about Black Women on TV, anything on TV regardless of what it is, has to be Entertainment or no one will watch, like their show, so they had these reality TV stars on. The only toxic thing is them, desperate for storylines and will be off the air soon, because no one wants a yawn show

People are so butt hurt in these comments because what they're saying on The Real is hitting close to home. A lot of people love reality TV because they either want to be on a reality show or want to be like person A, B or C on a show in their own real life. So they think Loni and them are judging their faves. No! What they're saying is the way these shows are being produced is not good for the women on them, the women they depict and the women who watch them. Joseline even did a rant on IG a while back saying that the women on LHHATL are being gassed by the producers to pick fights with her. So it's not like Loni was lying (oddly enough). These producers are manipulating these women to be their lowest selves and these women are doing it because it's the only way to secure the bag.

These hoes delusional, how can you "diss" them but keep having them on the show smiling in all of their faces. And call the show "The Real" REAL FAKEEEE

Loni…..I stated this on so many blogs. Thank you. Andy Cohen promotes this in fact if they don't bring drama there is no new contract. NeNe is going to bring back the Monkey Shine to the RHOA and it is HORRIBLE Kenya Moore buying men to play her man. Sheree, starting huge fights. JUST HORRIBLE.

If you watched that entire segment of girl chat you would've heard Loni first talk about how sweet the ladies were but how there is not a lot of black representation on TV & how the producers of these reality shows tend to help incite negativity & they are often trying to scramble for a check. You would've also heard them talk about that being a sad truth in current reality TV in general, especially the ones with women. tbh, The Real admittedly uses these people's celebrity for their own gain as well. Evenso, I don't feel they were being hypocritical, I just think they were speaking on a real situation in the TV industry. You have to realize that they are on The Real but they do not control the show. I love how they get a chance to discuss their own personal views even in the middle of not being able to control every aspect of the show.

I mean I get what they are saying but ya'll ratings go up when those stars come and Jeanie Tamara and Adrienne all had reality shows on the Style Network though (Jeanie wasn't about her life) they were positive shows. I find it strange they only see it as negative.

They have POINT…they aren't against the ladies, they are against the way they portrait themselves on television to make money as grown women… So they try to start war with them and the ladies, they are against the show

Black women love that type of reality tv. They love horrible stereotypical black reality women (bitter, mean, a bully, ignorant, can't speak like a normal person, barely clothed, ghetto, violent, always have to prove they are physically tough, always frowning and have negative energy) like nene, kenya, joseline, cardi b, tami, k michelle etc. all have many of these stereotypical behaviors and black women love them and make them feel like superstars. Their popularity makes them think their behavior is ok. You know how many black women pick on me because I hardly ever watch trashy reality shows? (Actually black women, even black men, pick on me and ostracize me for anything I do/like that is not typical of ghetto/urban/hood/black culture or anything that they feel is not "cool" and "acting white". This includes being 27 and not having kids, liking indie and soft rock music, playing videos games, going to baseball games, playing softball etc. sorry I'm getting off topic). They seriously live for these trashy shows. They don't realize the impact these shows (and rap) have on our community. People see these shows (and most rap) and repeat the behavior. Also I see so many parents letting their kids watch these shows and they wonder where their kids get certain behaviors from. I wish they supported black tv shows that don't have this type of behavior (including empire).

I got mad when ppl called The Real the The Fake when Tamar left. However, I have lived to see so much hypocrisy beyond this topic.

Loni is black and was speaking to us so we can be held accountable. Placing blame or saying " they do it too" won't assist our growth as Black women.

I find it funny they talking negative about reality star's,but yet they keep bringing them to co-host the show. to help their ratings, that are probably low since Tamar left

  29. Hope4Me

The host of The Real shouldn't generalize. They've all been on reality shows. Maybe not Loni, but I think Chelsea had a show that wasn't scripted that Loni came on, but all the others for sure have been on reality tv shows.

loni is very to face that show needs all the help it can get. they should be thanking these reality stars for taking time out of there day to visit that show. if they really want to be real they should say that they lost raitings since tamar left.

What about Mob Wifes they are far worst and RHONJ just as bad

  44. Tiffany and Co.

    May 12, 2017 at 1:57 pm

I just would like to know why Tamar was booted off the show for being too ghetto, using too much gay lingo, being over the top etc. but they keep bringing these D list reality VH1 folks on the show. SMH The Real is really catering hard to a demographic that is into this type of foolery anyways.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about women who are always fighting and always trying to bring other women down. There is a lot of that! I will never understand why anybody would want to go on national tv and show themselves in a negative light. Its quite disgusting! They definitely need to stop with the extra cohosts all the time. Either find a permanent regular 5th host or leave it at 4 and only add co-host for special occasions or if one of the regulars is out for some reason!
